Our 5 night stay was “blissful” at this wonderful property tucked away in a most tranquil part of Kewarra Beach. The extremely peaceful neighbourhood with it’s delightful tropical surroundings will definitely see us return to this ‘little piece of paradise’, as our time there was a special blessing 🙂 Many thanks to Lara, our most helpful and caring hostess, who ensured we were well taken care of at beautiful “Shanee”.

Shanee Prana is a beautiful house, beautiful setting, lots of thoughtful details like shampoo etc, lots of towels, plenty of great stuff in the kitchen to cook great meals not just basic. fantastically clean and well maintained. very spacious with many different areas to relax and still have your stuff around you without it being cluttered. we all loved our stay and were very sad to leave would definately go back!!

Our extended family with ages ranging from 88 to 3 months were well accommodated in this beautiful home. We were appreciative of the all the facilities which allowed us to celebrate together but also find quiet places to re-group. Our introduction on the property use and facilities was well supported by the housekeeper. We would return without hesitation.

The house is big enough to accomodate a larger group. We were a group of 10 and our stay was very relaxing. There’s plenty of room for the kids to play and the outdoor dining area is perfect.

Our family of 10 had the most amazing reunion at Shanee Prana in April. The property is magnificent with park-like gardens, a rock pool and an all-weather tennis court, which we used every day. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The property is well positioned between Cairns and Port Douglas with quick access to beautiful beaches. Because of the beautiful weather, we ate all our meals on the veranda. We would highly recommend this gorgeous property which certainly hasn’t seen the last of us. The owner is extremely helpful and will provide any information you require during your stay.

The house is fantastic, very comfortable and safe for 3 couples and 5 kids. The bedrooms have modern comfortable beds and bathrooms are also very good. The garden is amazing, with lots of space to play, a nice pool and a tennis court. The big barbecue also made our evenings very delicious! The location is very beautiful, quite and peaceful, however the beach is reachable only by car. We had a great reception upon our arrival, with a person waiting for us at the house to explain us everything and to give us some tips on shopping and sightseeing around. The pictures of the house available in the internet are very truthful to the reality! We would go back there anytime!

The tropical, very open architecture gave us a lot of space and privacy for us parents and our two children but could easily be home for another family in the 2nd wing. you have the choice between the pool in front or the tennis court in the back of the house. everything incl garden and tennis court is very well maintained(!) – we stayed here finishing our holidays but will come back next time for a werk and explore the area from here, beaches are 5min drive, cairns 15min, tableland or port douglas/mossman 1 hour. lara is a very friendly host doing all she can with her staff to make things possible.

What a fantastic house and surroundings. We have a large family including our grandchildren who all stayed at this magnificent property. The layout of the house is brilliant with huge living spaces and bedrooms well positioned for the grandchildren who went to bed early. The tennis court is in excellent condition and the pool was the perfect temperature, there is a large BBQ with an undercover area for entertaining. The cleaner and owner were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay at this outstanding property.

It is a beautiful home in a lovely location. Peaceful, serene and secluded. We had a family Christmas and it was one of our best holidays. If you didn’t leave the house, you would still be happy. Far North Queensland has so much to see and do and is a wonderful holiday location. You do need a car to get around but beaches are just minutes away. About 30 mins from Cairns airport and slightly longer to Cairns, very near to shops and easy access to the highway that goes from Port Douglas to Townsville. The pictures of the house don’t really do it justice and there wasn’t anything we were disappointed with. My family would certainly recommend it and Lara was just brilliant, before, during and after our trip. We all hope to go back there on another holiday.

Magnificent! The property is set on over 4500 square metres of beautifully manicured gardens, bright airy house with tennis court and swimming pool. The place presents even better than the photos do it justice. The area of Kewarra Beach for us was preferable to some of the busier areas around. The beach itself at Kewarra Beach (4 mins by car) is a sensational family beach with shaded kids play equipment, BBQ’s and a truly stunning beach. I personally don’t quite understand the attraction of Palm Cove but that is about 10mins away if that takes your interest. Lara was a terrific host. We never actually met face to face but the communication and arrangements that were made for us by Lara were seamless. If you are looking for a tranquil little patch of paradise, you cannot go wrong with this one.

My family have just come back from an incredible 8 days staying at Shanee. Anyone who books this property will definitely not be disappointed and it certainly ticks all the boxes to ensure a successful family holiday. We loved lazying around the pool, playing tennis,reading a book in the hammock whilst admiring the tropical gardens, enjoying meals out on the beautiful deck, and visiting the Barrier reef and other tourist attractions this part of the world has to offer.The house itself is exquisite and much bigger than i had imagined. My children are still talking about this holiday! Thank you Lara for not only being extremely helpful with sharing your knowledge of the area but for also allowing us to share your wonderful piece of paradise!
